XV. Historic Carousels and Curious Public Art
Honestly, I had no idea where to slot in Connecticut’s historic carousels – of which there are a lot, oddly enough – and decided to throw in whatever interesting public art displays I come across – often just random installations I like or hate for whatever reason. If it’s compelling for some reason, I’ll toss it in here. Some of the stuff there will merely link to other sections as I arbitrarily see fit.
There is (or was anyway) an official Connecticut Carousel Trail. It lists 13 carousels. Here they are:
